Are you after the ultimate in aerobatic flights? From the moment you are strapped into the seat of the Pitts Special you are in another dimension. With a maximum speed of 184 knots – you're in for the time of your life. Experiencing spinning, rolls loops and an amazing array of full-on aerobatics!

Upon your arrival at the hanger, you will meet your pilot and ground staff for the day and be shown around the aircraft and given brief safety instructions and there is plenty of time for photos. The Pitts Special aircraft is brand new and has only just arrived from the USA, this fantastic aerobatic aircraft is the only one of its kind in the Sydney Basin. It is designed for speed, manoeuvrability and full-on aerobatics.

We'll get you strapped and secured into your seat. For the duration of your flight you'll be sitting at the front of the aircraft and your pilot will be sitting behind you. When all is ready and the engine started, you will be up and away on your flight.

You have communication with your pilot for the duration of the flight through your headset and he will make the journey as enjoyable as possible for you, explaining the manoeuvres and being as adventurous with loop the loops and rolls as you wish. It has a climb speed of 85 knots at a rate of over 2000 ft per minute and a maximum speed of 184 knots - which is 3 times faster than the Tiger Moth. The thrill of aerobatics is the ultimate adrenalin rush and each manoeuvre will leave you feeling completely exhilarated.

On return to the hanger you will be assisted from the aircraft by the ground crew where there is an opportunity for some more photos.

Guidelines:

You must be 15 years or over and must weigh no more than 115kg. You can bring a camera with you but please make sure that it is secure during the flight. You will be required to sign a flight form with your name, address and phone number.

Numbers:

You will be one-on-one with your pilot.

Weather:

We require clear and calm conditions and may have to cancel in the case of poor weather. Please contact us on the morning of your flight to confirm. If cancelled, we will re-schedule your flight. A minimum of 24 hours is required to reschedule, otherwise a 25% cancellation fee may be charged.

Session Length:

20 minutes. Flights take place during daylight hours and are available everyday of the week except Tuesdays, subject to availability. This experience is not available on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.

Extra Info:

Please allow up to 1 hour for the experience. This includes approximately 20 minutes in the air and a total of 15 minutes before and after take-off for a safety brief and photos opportunity. Best time of the day for the flight is very early morning.
