Join us for the gliding opportunity of a lifetime! Byron Bay and its surrounding hinterland boasts some of the most spectacular soaring landscapes in the world! Come and share with us the thrill of riding the invisible currents of rising air in a glider.

Ever wanted to experience silent flight in a glider? Even if it’s your first time in a glider and you're feeling a bit nervous, believe us, you’re not the first and you definitely won’t be the last.

For those who just want to 'get up there' and find out what gliding is all about, this is the flight for you. Sitting next to the pilot in the front seat of our competition glider, you will enjoy a stunning scenic coastal flight to Cape Byron along Main Beach.

Enjoy the view of of Byron Bay whilst looking out for whales and dolphins along the way. We climb to 3500ft and then glide back to the airfield. You’ll soon be back for more. During this gliding experience, you can expect to be in the air for approximately 30 minutes!

Guidelines:

This experience is suitable for almost anyone with a passion for flying. You must not weigh more than 110kg.

Numbers:

This experience is for one person. You will be one-on-one with your pilot.

Weather:

This experience is weather dependent. In the event of poor weather conditions, we will reschedule your flight for a later date.

Session Length:

Flight time is approximately 30 minutes. Due to the nature of gliding we cannot guarantee flight time. We recommend that you make a booking at least three days in advance. Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your confirmed flight time. Morning or afternoon flights are available.
