Experience the wonder of silent flight in a glider over stunning Byron Bay. Soar without the engines and experience views towards Mount Warning and east over Main Beach. Fly over the famous Cape Byron lighthouse for a bird's eye view of NSW's far north coast!

This is one of the best ways to see Byron from the air, and it is the perfect introduction to the sport of gliding!

After take off from the airfield, we fly at a low level along some of the most beautiful beaches in Byron Bay. For the duration of the flight you'll take in the stunning views from the back seat of the glider. Your pilot will be sitting in front of you.

Once reaching the most easterly point of Australia, known as Cape Byron, and flying over the famous lighthouse, we climb to 3500ft and cut the engine. Let the soaring begin!

The views to the Gold Coast, Mount Warning, the volcanic caldera and the Great Dividing Range are spectacular - so don’t forget your camera!

Taking advantage of the thermals and ridge-lift created by the sun and winds, we glide all the way back over the beautiful hinterland of Byron Bay for an engine-off landing back on the airfield.

This experience is suitable for almost anyone with a passion for flying. You must weigh less than 110kg.

This experience is for one person. You will be one-on-one with your pilot.

Session Length:

Flight time is approximately 45 minutes. Due to the nature of gliding we cannot guarantee flight time. Please book at least three days in advance. Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your confirmed flight time.
