My daughter bought this experience for my 47th birthday. I was so impressed to receive a gift with a difference, not the usual DVDs etc. It's something that I will always remember, and I am sure she will always remember it too long after I have gone. I didn't have a bucket list until I went on the helicopter flight, now I do. Well thats one ticked off my list... does RedBalloon have sky diving?

The wide range of RedBalloon adventures was exceptional. RedBalloon made the experience easy from start to finish. And the day itself was top notch - in my case flying a helicopter. The team were knowledgeable and friendly - and looked after me very well. I will recommend Red Balloon and the helicopter experience to my friends.

After a thirty minute briefing, I was in the helicopter on the controls and we were away! I found the flight fantastic and now realise how challenging it is at the controls. I would not hesitate to recommend this experience to anyone that has an interest in aviation, or just wants to know what it is really feels like to to fly a helicopter. Only thing was, not long enough!

The crew were very professional and helpful. Their facilities are first class and they made the whole experience very enjoyable and hassle free. The flying experience was fantastic! Spent about 30 minutes in the air of which 20 was at the controls. Trying to hold that hover gives you a new respect for chopper pilots. Recommend the experience to anyone without hesitation.

The pilot was great at putting me at ease. We were born in the same town in the UK, only 25 years apart. I now want to come back, as he settled me down enough to want to fly myself!

What an awesome day! I could not believe that within such a very short time I had learnt the basics of helicopter flying and was made comfortable enough to take the controls and fly a machine I have always wanted to! The weather on the day turned out fantastic and the feedback and encouragement from my instructor, Alex King, was excellent. Thank you for a great day!

I really was flying that thing - I'm still in a amazement that i did it! You are fully supervised by the friendly staff who go through the basics that you need to fly that bladed contraption. My favourite moment was the take off and the landing. Flying low to the ground, then up you go. Now, every time i see a helicopter in the sky i'm so green with envy... THE BEST DAY I'VE HAD IN 15 YEARS!!!

Simon my instructor was great; knowledgeable, confident, reassuring and positive... even when I wasn't flying with quite the panache I would like to have been :-) Being an engineer, getting my head around how the R22 works, and the technical aspects of the controls and flying the machine were all part of the experience. A truly memorable afternoon!

The pilots had the perfect mix of professionalism with relaxed larrikin humour. You know you are doing something quite serious in flying a chopper, but they made the experience fun, enjoyable, stress free and didn't come across as having huge egos as alot of instructors in other fields can be. Genuinely nice people delivering a really good service. I would go back for sure!

Wind was at 5knots from the S.E. A comfortable 25 degrees on the pad. The motor fired up... Up we went. As easy as that! Off we went towards Parramatta & got there in about 4 minutes doing 70 knots at 1000 feet. THEN IT WAS MY TURN I flew for a total of around 20 minutes, over Silverwater, Prospect, Parramatta & Bankstown. BLOODY MARVELLOUS !!!! Thank you very much for the wonderful gift

For me it was an opportunity of a life time! It was a perfect day, full of excitement, exhilaration and a bit of nervousness. Sydney looks perfect from the air especially on a clear, sunny day as I was fortunate enough to have one. The ultimate experience for anybody, my father in law loved his helicopter flight for his 70th birthday. He has done lots of things in his life but never flown a helicopter, the smile on his face when he returned was priceless.

The helicopter flight was unbelievable. The instructor goes through some preflight training and then it's off to the Robinson R22. After a quick take off you are then on the controls and flying the machine all by yourself. I enjoyed it immensely.

Absolutely fabulous - great value, from having never flown a chopper, I ended up being at the controls for almost the entire flight minus take-off & land; brilliant experience, felt safe the whole time. Would highly reccomend to anyone.

This for me was one of the best days of my life! All i can say is that i would recommend this to anyone! This made my birthday and really got me interested in flying. The fact that this is also a mini-tutorial towards being a helicopter pilot, and that you actually get to fly is just amazing! Would definitely have to be the best present i have ever received...
