Unleash the resin jewellery designer in you! This hands-on class will show you the techniques to design and create the silicone molds necessary to design great pieces of resin jewellery - your friends will be begging you for lessons after the workshop so they can make their own great pieces!

The resin jewellery mold making experience starts with an introduction to mold making by one of our trained mold making instructors. They will walk you through the techniques that you need to know about mold making. The class is focused around jewellery design, specifically making molds for resin bangles, rings and beads.

Initially, we will start by explaining the sorts of products you can make using this technique of one part mold making and show you some samples of the types of jewellery pieces you can make.

During the class, you will work with modelling clay to sculpt up your designs (you can make a mold for a bangle and ring, or up to twelve small beads). You will then turn these designs into molds.

Afterwards, you will learn how to prepare your resin jewellery mold-making containers, as well as the new type of rapid setting silicone which you will be working with.

Following this there will be a short 10 minute break before returning to the lesson to complete your design. At the completion of the mold-making course, you will have an opportunity to shop for any materials you wish to purchase so that you can continue to make more resin jewellery molds in the comfort of your own home.

Please Note: This class does not include a resin jewellery making component. You are welcome to purchase the resin materials on the day and make the jewellery at home using your newly created mold. All materials for the molds are provided and are included in the price.
