What is the Experience?
Flying through the sky at 400km/h in a Yak 52 aerobatic flight is sure to get the blood pumping. The G force pounds at your body as your pilot pulls back and our warbird aircraft arcs back up into the sky. Whether you want extreme flight action or a scenic flight - the choice is completely yours!
When you arrive at the base in the NSW Southern Highlands, you'll be introduced to your pilot and briefed on individual options for your own personalised flight profile in the Yak 52.
Following a careful safety briefing and cockpit familiarisation, you are strapped into the back seat of one of our Communist Bloc Warbirds. For the duration of the flight you will be sitting in your own cockpit, behind the pilot. Then the adventure begins! After takeoff at military power, you are able to engage in a tactical navigation exercise over the beautiful Southern Highlands, just 80 minutes from Sydney. You fly low over the Fitzroy Waterfall and are even given the opportunity to take control of the Warbird should you wish.
Once back over the Combat Area you have the option of engaging in military style aerobatics. These range from mild to wild….You decide what level, if any, you would like to experience.
The next phase of the flight is an optional ground attack run. The enemy is out there and we will need to engage in some aggressive manoeuvring to avoid the surface to air missile sites that are located between us and the target. Once we have target acquisition, we will use a simulated ‘pop up attack’ to minimise our exposure to enemy fire, and destroy the target.
With combat power set, we depart the target area as quickly as possible and return to Base. If you have flown the last sortie for the day, or are interested in hanging around until the last flight, you are invited back to our bar for a complimentary drink and a relaxed debrief on your flight.
Venue:
The beautiful Southern Highlands just south of Sydney. An easy one-hour and twenty minute drive from Sydney Airport.
Session Length
Flights are available during the week and on weekends. Bookings are essential. The Ultimate Warbird Experience lasts for 50 minutes with a minimum of 30 minutes flight time.

Guidelines:
Children above 8 years old and adults less than 100kg can fly. People with medical conditions should seek medical advice prior to booking.
Numbers:
The experience is for one person flying with a pilot. Depending on the time of year, bookings can be made for groups of up to 10 people per day.
Weather:
If the weather is deemed to be unsuitable for your flight, every effort will be made to contact you as early as possible to reschedule. To that end, if possible, contact details for the day of your flight should be submitted with your booking.
Other Info:
All passengers must sign an Indemnity Form prior to flight.
This experience voucher is valid for six months from date of purchase.
