Have your kids ever wondered what Sydney looked like when the convicts arrived? Well, a few things might have changed since then, but you can still go on a sailing adventure, following their journey through the Heads. Trim the sails and take the helm to discover this stunning Sydney coastline!

On the day of your full day sailing adventure, you’ll meet our friendly crew. As you board the yacht, you’ll be given a short safety briefing, before departing the pier to make our way under the Harbour Bridge, past numerous historical attractions, beautiful bays and of course stunning beaches! Onboard is our highly skilled and experienced skipper who will ensure that your sailing adventure runs smoothly and safely.

After passing through the heads, we’ll either begin to explore the north, heading towards Manly Beach or the south towards Bondi Beach. We might even start sailing in the direction of New Zealand for a while, depending on prevailing conditions on the day!

We encourage everyone on board to get involved by trimming the sails or taking the helm under our experienced skipper’s direction. Of course, if you’d prefer to sit back and enjoy the experience, there are plenty of comfortable spots for you to just take in the Sydney views. A sailing adventure certainly is a fun and exciting way to enjoy Sydney Harbour and its surrounds.

During the day, we’ll also provide you with a packed lunch and water, which you are welcome to enjoy at any time whilst you’re onboard.

After a solid day’s sailing on Sydney’s waterways, we head back to the pier and you can expert to return to dry land at approximately 4pm.

Guidelines:

You must be able to board the yacht with limited assistance and be reasonably fit to participate. This experience is suitable for children up to 14 years of age. All children must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one child aged up to 14 years. There will be up to 12 other passengers on the yacht. Adult prices are also available, please refer to product code SBS151.

Weather:

This experience may be affected by the weather. In the event of adverse wind or sea conditions, we will cancel your experience and reschedule for a later date. Sailing is not affected by the rain.

Session Length:

This experience is approximately 6 hours in duration. We depart at 10am and return at 4pm. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to departure. This experience operates on a Saturday and Sunday throughout the year, subject to availability. For large groups, we are able to run mid week trips.

A packed lunch is included in this experience. Please advise us at the time of booking if you have any special dietary requirements and we will do our best to accommodate your requirements.
