Get a small group together for this private helicopter flight along the Tamar River all the way to Low Head. Experience some gorgeous coastline before tracking back for Launceston via Beaconsfield. Launceston CBD, Cataract Gorge and UTAS Stadium are just a couple of the highlights of this flight.
The complete Tamar Valley experience, this 35-minute helicopter flight sees you fly along the Tamar River all the way to Low Head to see the lighthouse standing watch at the mouth of the river. Departing from Peppers Silo Hotel, you will experience a gorgeous coastline from high up above before tracking back for Launceston via Beaconsfield. The Rosevears Hotel, Hillwood Berries, Batman Bridge and Beaconsfield Gold Mine are just some of the amazing locales to identify on your flight. Keep an eye out for Mt Roland to the west on a clear day, and snow caps in the high country during winter, and see if you can spot the chairlift in the gorge before touching down at the Silo Hotel on return.
Your flight will be a private flight for the booked number of passengers. All flights will only be conducted with a minimum of two passengers (smallest group option). Flights up to three passengers will be in our R44 helicopter and groups of four to six will be in our EC130 helicopter.
Weather conditions may impact your flight - in this case we will make contact as soon as forecasts indicate any unfavourable conditions. Your experience will be rescheduled at no cost to the next day which is available.
