Reach exciting new heights with a hot air ballooning flight over the Hunter Valley, Australia’s oldest wine region. Nothing compares to the feeling of taking off, soaring high above the ground, and watchingt he sun slwoly wake up th as the rising sun lets you know the day is officially beginning.
Prepare to feel that sense of wonder that only a hot air balloon can evoke! Your flight will take place over the spectacular Hunter Valley region of New South Wales just 120 km north of Sydney. On the morning of your hot air balloon ride, you'll arrive bright and early and be taken through a safety briefing. Then your ballooning adventure truly begins! You'll be in the air in no time; one moment you'll be just a few feet above the trees, and the next you'll be thousands of feet up looking down on the lush green valley below. Enjoy the scenic views of the vineyards, mountain ranges and local wildlife as you float through the valley watching the sunrise. After you down back onto solid ground, you’ll be transferred to the Rydges Resort Hunter Valley where you'll enjoy a champagne breakfast to toast your flight.
Hot Air Ballooning is a weather dependent activity and may be cancelled at very short notice due to changing and unsuitable weather conditions. It is your responsibility to have the mobile phone you have given us as your contact with you and switched on to receive possible alterations or cancellation to your flight. Please monitor this phone the night before the flight and up to the time of boarding.
Outdoor clothes are recommended (avoid whites) as well as solid shoes as the ground is often unevenly covered with dew in the early morning. Please also bring along sunglasses, a cap and your camera or phone to capture the amazing views.
